Information We Collect

PlainBreed follows a strict minimal-data philosophy. Site analytics are powered by Umami, which was chosen specifically because it never places cookies on your device and collects zero personally identifiable information. All usage metrics remain anonymous and aggregated.

Editorial Independence

Content on PlainBreed is compiled by PlainBreed: raw data from the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine's openFDA Animal & Veterinary Adverse Event extract is transformed into readable profiles and validated against the source before publication. PlainBreed is responsible for editorial standards and corrections.

We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or promoted placement from veterinary practices, drug manufacturers, veterinary product companies, or any animal-health company. Our only revenue source is contextual display advertising served by Google AdSense, advertisers do not influence which entities we cover or how we present data, and they do not receive preferential placement.
