PlainBreed follows a strict minimal-data philosophy. Site analytics are powered by Umami, which was chosen specifically because it never places cookies on your device and collects zero personally identifiable information. All usage metrics remain anonymous and aggregated.

All data displayed on this site comes from the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine's publicly available adverse event reporting system. No private or proprietary data is used. No personally identifiable information from these datasets is stored or displayed.

Editorial Independence

Content on PlainBreed is compiled by our editorial team: raw data from CMS, HHS, CDC, FDA, and HRSA is transformed into readable profiles, validated against the source before publication. The PlainBreed editorial team is responsible for editorial standards and corrections.

We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or promoted placement from providers, hospitals, manufacturers, or any healthcare entity. Our only revenue source is contextual display advertising served by Google AdSense, advertisers do not influence which entities we cover or how we present data, and they do not receive preferential placement.
