According to the Food and Drug Administration Center for Veterinary Medicine adverse-event extract reviewed in August 2026 against our methodology, this directory indexes 1,085,823 adverse-event report rows.
This log records material corrections we applied after publication. The how-to-report process lives on the editorial & corrections policy. Entries are past-tense and tied to repository commits; nothing is invented to pad the list. This public log starts on 2026-08-07.

Research window and chart vintage coupled to live extract
Period totals on the adverse-event trends research page now use complete years only and disclose the trailing partial tip separately. Chart asOf labels, breed hero badges, and the cross-breed median comparison line read from live stats instead of hardcoded 2025/4.8% values. The year-pinned /research/dog-health-trends-2010-2023 URL permanently redirects to /research/animal-adverse-event-trends.

Trust-page census counts switched to live stats
About, methodology, rankings, and guide pages were still showing a prerendered breed/species/drug/reaction census that lagged the openFDA refresh. Those pages now read live getStats counts so the published totals match the money pages.

Empty entity URLs return a real 404
Breed, species, drug, and reaction detail routes that used to soft-serve empty shells now return Response(404) with noindex when the entity is missing, so crawlers stop treating missing IDs as thin indexable pages.
